Programs & Services
The Central Illinois Veterans Commission (CIVC) provides access to a variety of programs and services to support Honorable and General discharged veterans in their journey towards obtaining a permanent home. We believe every veteran deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Explore our programs and services below to learn more.
We offer access to a range of services to support veterans in their journey towards obtaining a permanent home. We do this by partnering with the VA, civic organizations, human service agencies, the Board of Health and community colleges. These include, but are not limited to:
Mental Health Counseling
Accredited College Courses
Financial and Life Coaching
Housing Assistance Programs
Skilled Trade Schools
Tiny Homes for Veterans
At CIVC, we are dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through a variety of services. We understand that it can be difficult for veterans to transition back into civilian life and that's why we strive to provide them with the resources they need to do so.
One of our most unique services is our tiny homes program. We provide veterans with affordable, permanent housing that is tailored to their specific needs. We also have additional programs to help veterans continue their education, find employment, and receive mental health services.

Health and Wellness Collaborative
As a Veterans Services organization, CIVC is dedicated to providing access to comprehensive services to all veterans in the community. We are partnering with a variety of organizations to create a Veterans Health and Wellness Collaborative, which will be focused on providing holistic care to all the veterans in the area.
