The Central Illinois Veterans Commission is a nonprofit dedicated to giving Central Illinois veterans the tools and support to move forward into permanent homes.
Our mission
We believe every veteran deserves a safe, stable place to call their own. CIVC builds the coalition it takes to get them there, pairing mortgage-free tiny homes with the counseling, healthcare, education, and workforce support that make a home stick.
CIVC partners with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Logan County Board of Health, area hospitals, community colleges, and local human service agencies so a veteran working with us can reach mental health care, dental care, financial coaching, and job training without having to find each of those doors on their own.
