CIVC runs on people who show up.

The board is all-volunteer. The builds are community-powered. If you have time, skills, or just a willingness to help, there is a place for you here.

How volunteers make it happen

Every home that gets built, every event that gets organized, and every veteran who gets connected to services happens because community members gave their time. Volunteering with CIVC is direct and tangible you will see the results.

Build Days

On build days, volunteers work alongside skilled tradespeople to move construction forward. No construction experience is required for most tasks if you can show up, follow directions, and work safely, you can help build a home.

Event Support

CIVC's annual Golf Outing and other community events depend on volunteers for setup, registration, logistics, and everything in between. If you enjoy organizing and being part of a team, event volunteering is a great fit.

Skilled Trades & Professional Services

Licensed contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople who donate time and expertise are some of CIVC's most valuable volunteers. Similarly, professionals who can offer pro-bono legal, accounting, or design services help keep costs down and quality up.

Board Involvement

CIVC's board is entirely volunteer-driven. If you have experience in nonprofit governance, finance, construction management, veteran services, or community outreach, and are interested in a deeper commitment to CIVC's mission, reach out to learn more.
